It’s small. It’s priced right for students. And it runs real-world autonomous car software.
THIS IS NXP CUP. It’s your invitation to make a pro-level autonomous model car. You’ll build, program, and race a model car against other teams for fastest time and precise maneuvering.
The low-cost entry kit comes equipped with NXP components that are used in cars on the road today. All you need is basic embedded software programming and circuitry knowledge – and the willingness to learn!
Just like an autonomous vehicle, your car will sense, think, and act. Using a camera sensor integrated with the motor control system, your vehicle will sense its environment and autonomously navigate and propel through the race course.

2020 NXP CUP EMEA postponed
The spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has forced us to evaluate the potential health and safety risks for the students, professors, organizers and general audience who would attend the qualification rounds and finals events associated with the NXP Cup.
Over the past weeks, we have seen significant spread of the coronavirus to many EMEA countries. The recent developments have forced us to postpone the NXP Cup qualification rounds and final events until the 2nd half of 2020 pending new developments related to the virus. This postponement is to help reduce the risk of further compounding the current outbreak.
